Our friend Spam – It surprisingly has a 0.000008% Conversion Rate

March 24, 2010

I am shocked that even 0.000008% of recipients fall for it. Apparently this equates to $3.5 million dollars, so anti-spamming is not only doing some good for your inbox but it is saving the world as well.

For me Spam at most is mildly titillating and at worse disappointing (seeing an inbox full of emails only to realise they are mostly spam!).

Anyway the full article can be found at NewScientist , I sourced this from Flowing Data

Nice Info graphic though, don’t you think?
