US is Bleeding – Processing Thematic time series map of US unemployment

After reading this post on flowingdata, before Christmas last year I decided I would convert the tutorial for a python script into a Processing Java Applet, time series visualisation. I try to keep this up to date every quarter, last update was January.

It is amazing how hard the US has been hit, 10% unemployment 😦
